Kids know that our earth needs help

You will be surprised how much our kids care about our mother nature. Older kids must have learned about the issues we face at school, but even the little ones seem to intuitively understand how important it is to keep our environment safe. Through last week’s challenges, they have named and friended some trees around them. Taking small steps to becoming better friends with our nature is something we all can do. Praise kids when they talk to trees, flowers, animals, and the sky. Compliment them when they pick up trash in the woods. We all need to do what we can do.

Challenge 1
You might have dreams when you sleep. Have you ever experienced having the same dreams? If so, try to describe the dream and tell us what it might mean.

Challenge 2
When you hear the word, “Love”, what comes to your mind? It’s something that everyone in this world should keep in their heart, but what does this mean to you? Who or what do you think of when you hear that word? What do you think love can bring to the earth?

Challenge 3
You’ve heard about the big problem of climate change. One of the biggest problems about it is losing trees every year to fires and new constructions, etc. We all need to make an effort to keep them safe and plant more of those. Now time for you to make a special connection with trees. Think of the type of tree you want to become friends with. Tell us what your plan is on how to keep your friendship with your favorite tree.
