Cookie Planet
Our TaleTree community is all about involving our camp kiddos in different aspects of our camp. They’re not just camp members by attending each week, but they’re also vital in helping create new stories, inspiring one another, and celebrating each others’ creativity. Just the other week, one of our newest camp members Ashley, shared a project which included a Cookie Planet! With a heart orbiting around itself, this planet was entirely made up of…..cookie! It was such a captivating idea to giggle about during the camp that with Ashley’s permission, we shared it with kids from all the other camps. Of course, it was a hit!
So many wonderful, silly ideas came up about this Cookie Planet including one that is so hot at its core that the chocolate chips melt into a cup held by a bunny rabbit! Another Cookie Planet travels the galaxy with a butterfly, mustache, and a 6-legged fish! And yet another includes an entire community of cookie teachers, cookie children, cookie athletes, and more! Thanks to Ashley’s Cookie Planet, so many of our camp kiddos found inspiration to pursue imaginative ideas of their own, and we were able to have so many interesting, memorable conversations with one another.
We want our camp kids to explore new ideas but also consider it extremely important to honor their bright minds by including them in sharing ideas for challenges, building our core values, and even in developing our TaleTree characters. Our campers are very much at the root of TaleTree’s foundations, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Take a look at all the renditions of Cookie Planet below!
