How do you Decorate?

Decorating can be so much fun, especially when you have your own space to decorate! Many of you have your own room, or little office spaces that are dedicated entirely to you. These spaces help show who you are as a person, and it is important to decorate them so they can reflect that. Our rooms have little pieces of us in them that make us happy. By walking into someone’s room, you can find out a few things they may like such as, their favorite color, animal, picture, book, plant, and so much more.

We have learned a lot about our kids on TaleTree simply because of how they choose to decorate their space. Jane has artwork that she has created hanging on her walls. It is really cool to be able to decorate your own room with something you have created. Artur loves cars so much, and he has multiple mini models of cars in his room, as well as car parts that he uses to make the cars even cooler. Chloe has been showing us over the past few months how she has been decorating her room. She has made it beach themed, hanging sea stars, putting shells everywhere, and having beachy lights that she hung around her room. Being able to decorate your space allows for your to develop a sense of self, as well as be more independent!

Aside from decorating your room, or office, you guys can all decorate for the holidays! We have loved seeing all of your decorations so far, and would love for you to most more holiday pictures. Do you like decorating the tree, making gingerbread houses, putting lights up, wrapping presents? Whatever it may be, show us your favorite way to decorate!

What’s in Rainforests?

Do you know rainforests are so important for the world? There are so many trees and plants in the rainforest that absorb carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases. You can find a lot of wildlife animals there as well. What if you walked into the Amazon rainforest? What animals would you encounter? Draw at least three animals you would meet there.

Who Made Moai?

The country, "Chile" has a famous island called "Easter Island". On Easter Island, there are almost 900 Moai - stone statues. They are about 20 feet tall and 20 tons heavy on average. It's still a mystery how the big stone monuments were moved to the lands of different families. Some people say the stone figures walked and some others say aliens moved them. What do you think? Who has moved those gigantic stone statues in the old days?
