Lots of Love
What do you love?
Do what you love.
Love what you do.
Our camp kids share love for many similar things. Some of these things include their families, friends, animals, food, and games. We know they love these things because they always talk about them during camp, and they use these things to create their artwork. On Monday, many of the kids brought in artwork all centered around food, and it was really fascinating to see that they all were thinking about food when creating their art for the week. Food art is always engaging because it not only makes you hungry when looking at it, but it encourages many of the kids to branch out and try things they may have never had before.
Aside from showing love in their art, all of our kids show love for one another. They notice right away if one of their friends is missing from camp that day, and if someone is not feeling well, they always do their best to cheer them up. It is beautiful how children are capable of being friends with someone online, and how kind they can be to someone they have never met in person.
One of our camp members, Makayla, loves to draw pictures of her family, and sometimes her friends. One that really stood out to us was when she drew her mama and papa telling each other “I love you!” It was a very sweet drawing, and we loved how she was able to capture the meaning of love, both for her parents, and between her parents, in a drawing of them.

What’s the Story?
Once upon a time, there lived a dog and a cat. The dog was named Charlie, and the cat was Lily. Can you imagine what happens to them? Tell us your story.
“Stop Being Enemies and Start Being Friends!”
The people of Ukraine need help from the world. Weapons, drones, and other attacking devices may look cool, but they hurt people. What if we reinvented these things? What do you think they should be like?
