Love and protect our nature
This week has been a tough week for many of us. The crazy fires in different locations in CA have been making our sky so grey and us to breathe bad air. Not being able to leave the house for a few days, we all realize we’ve been taking many things for granted. We already learned from staying home for many months that being able to to go to school and do whatever we would like to do isn’t something that’s guaranteed. The trees, birds, squirrels and blue sky can be destroyed over night if we don’t keep our environment healthy. It’s important for us, adults, to remind ourselves about it and guide our little ones and give them small tips on how they can help with it. Ask them what their action items should be to keep our nature’s well-being. Encourage them to follow through on those action items on a daily basis. They need to grow up understanding that they are the owners of this earth, which is a bit ill at the moment and needs good medicine to recover.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” - Margaret Mead
