What is your special talent?

What even is a talent? A talent is a natural skill that a person has. Most talents fall under the category of athletic, creative, or artistic. Talents usually are not taught, they are something that we can just innately do. It is often confused with skill because talent is a natural skill, and skills can be taught and bettered. So although talents are not typically taught, this does not mean it is impossible. When you think about your talents, what comes to mind? What is your strong suit? Some talents that our TaleTree friends have are: sports, dancing, writing, drawing, singing, school, baking, jewelry making, and so much more. Talents are limitless, which is why some people have multiple. If you do not have multiple talents that is perfectly fine! Something important to always remember is that no one person can be good at everything. You may find yourself jealous of a friend for being better at something than you are, but there is no need to be jealous. Instead, you should remember what you are good at, and learn to be happy for that. Also, we all need to learn to appreciate others talents, regardless of if they make us jealous or not. That is what TaleTree is all about! Here at TaleTree we appreciate everyone’s individuals talents, and we congratulate them on their hard work. Instead of wishing that you could create something like they did, be proud of their work, and then maybe try to recreate it in your own art style. There are so many ways to show appreciation to other people. The more we appreciate others and all that they are good at, the less jealous we become. We learn to be happy for those around us, and we find comfort in their achievements. Think about your talents, and all of the things that make you proud to be good at them.
