Talk About Talents!

All of your amazing talent goes beyond just artwork and creations. Your musical abilities are as unique and wonderful as any other talent you possess. This week, we got to learn a lot more about our kids through music. The majority of our TaleTree friends play an instrument, and if they do not, they hope to learn how to play one in the future. The instruments they play are: piano, violin, electric bass, ukulele, acoustic guitar, recorder, flute, and trumpet. Some of our members also sing, and this week, we got to hear a beautiful song sung by Sasha, in preparation for an upcoming audition she has.

A few of our kids always say that music is another art form, and they are absolutely right. Just like a brush dances on a canvas, music allows you to paint vibrant melodies in the air. Whether you're strumming a guitar, tinkling the ivories of a piano, or humming a catchy tune, your musical talent is something to be celebrated and nurtured.

Do you remember the feeling when you create something amazing? It is the same joy that envelops you when you produce a beautiful melody. Every time you pick up an instrument or sing a song, you have the power to express yourself in a language that transcends words. You can convey emotions, tell stories, and uplift the hearts of others through the magic of music.

Don't ever doubt your musical abilities. Each one of us has a unique musical fingerprint, and yours is waiting to be discovered and shared with the world. Whether you already are really great at playing an instrument/singing, or just starting to explore the world of music, remember that every note you play or sing links to your creativity and talent.

New Inspiration

Is it okay to copy someone else's art? Yes, as long as you give credit to the original creator. It can be a great way to practice and find inspiration. Take a look at this wonderful picture made by our friend, jetstar. It was inspired by the colorful, beautiful, and kind art of Eva Armisen. What kind of art do you like? Make Your Own Flag

Flags have been used for identification or signaling to others. Each country has its own flag, and each state in the US has its own flag as well. Our camp friends love to draw awesome flags. We challenge you to create your own flag for your family, school, or friendship! :)
