Sharing Talents
As our campers gather to discuss everything from beautifully written poetry to carefully crafted forts and more, we can’t help but acknowledge the incredible amount of talent within our young campers’ minds! This week we had many conversations about how we choose to use our special talents.
One of our older camp members Jaden shared about trading artwork with his friends, while Leah made art to fundraise for hurricane relief charities. Some kids dreamt of creating special landmarks in public spaces, and countless others imagined opening up online shops for their own creations.
By exploring the different possibilities of how we can share our strengths and talents, our bright, young campers gain new perspectives about different facets of their talents. We’ve said it before but we’ll say it again: creativity is not limited to making art. Creativity is a multi-faceted outlet where kids can explore the possibilities of being anything from a sculptor and business owner to a doctor and shoe designer. Our very own TaleTree campers have a desire to help support others with their talents as well.
What kind of talents stand out to you as you look through our campers’ creations this week? What kind of lessons can you take away for yourself?
