Celebrating Earth
With celebrations for Earth Day this past week, many of our campers took the liberty to share their creative responses to the value of this global holiday in their lives. Whether it be about beautiful landscapes or the animals that inhabit it, their many creations display appreciation for the wonder of our natural world. With these creations came conversations about how we can take better care of it.
Some suggested being more conscious of litter on the street and helping to pick it up. Others suggested using less wasteful materials or even re-purposing scrap materials for different uses. It’s even important to buy less objects that eventually end up as waste in oceans and landfills. Good habits start at a young age, and our hope at TaleTree is to help encourage a positive, healthy lifestyle in all different ways.
How will you choose to protect planet Earth, your home?
