So Much To Do

Do you ever find that you are working on too many art pieces at one time? Is it hard to choose which one you want to go back to and finish? Well, if your answer is yes, you are not alone! The majority of our kids at TaleTree have this problem, and although it may be frustrating, it is a great problem to have. We loved hearing that they are working on so many projects at once, and that they have multiple works in progress pieces. It is very fun when the kids feel confident enough to show their pieces that are not quite finished yet. The other kids always have such kind things to say about it, and they give good suggestions on how they can further their piece and make it even better. Sasha is one of our campers that is always working on multiple creations at one time. Recently, she has been showing us her works in progress, and although they are not complete yet, they are still amazing.

We know it may be difficult to choose which piece you want to go back to and finish. Advice we can give is try to choose the one that fits your mood best for that day. Of course all of your artwork is fun to create, and you want to go back to all of it, but we have to pick and choose sometimes in order to get things done. Keep up the hard work! We cannot wait to see all the finished creations.

Storytelling

Storytelling is such a powerful thing. There are so many different ways to go about telling stories and that is the beauty of it. You can tell a story based on something that happened to you, you can make up a story, or you can write a story. Recently, we have found out that many kids here at TaleTree find joy in writing their own stories. Grace, and Sasha both are in the middle of writing their stories now, and said they would share them with us soon. Precious has written a few stories in the past, and says she plans to start writing another story, too, that she hopes will be over 60 pages. Writing stories is just another form of art. Words are beautiful, and we love to see how you guys can use your creativity and imagination to piece them together to tell a story.

Manga Art

Some of our members love to create Manga art. Manga is a word for comics or graphic novels developed in Japan originally and now the form of art and storytelling is used globally. Show your style of Manga :)

My Pet, My Family

Our pets are parts of our family. They are also such great friends just like our siblings. If you have pets, take fun pictures of them. Keep them in your Room on TaleTree. They will stay in different memories of yours forever.

What Are These Little Creatures?
