Learning From Kids

Kids Can Teach Adults

Do you know that when you really, really like something, it is like a magical key that unlocks a treasure chest of knowledge in your brain? It's true! Just like our awesome camper, Jiyoo. She is super passionate about art, and one day, she created the most beautiful drawing with different bugs on it (grasshopper, cricket, praying mantis). Her drawing was so cool that it sparked something incredible in our friend Jaehwi's mind.

As soon as Jaehwi saw Jiyoo's masterpiece, he could not help but get excited. He started telling us the coolest and most interesting facts about all the different bugs in Jiyoo's drawing, as well as facts he knew about other bugs, specifically spiders. Our favorite fact he shared with us is about a spider’s web. He said as long as the spider travels along the straight lines of the web, and not the diagonal ones, the spider will not get stuck. When other bugs hit the web, they get stuck because of the diagonal design of the web.

What is even more fantastic is that once Jaehwi started sharing his bug knowledge, other friends in our group got inspired too. They began telling us even more cool facts about not just bugs but all sorts of amazing animals. It's like a chain reaction of knowledge! We are constantly amazed by how eager and enthusiastic our friends are to share what they know. Every day is a new adventure with so much to learn from each other. So, remember, when you love something, let your passion shine bright, and you will be surprised at all the incredible things you can discover and share with the world!

Let’s Reduce Waste Each Day!

Hello, friends! While we often discuss environmental concerns, it's equally important to take daily actions to make a difference. Share your inventive ideas on how we can actively reduce waste and contribute to a more sustainable future!

The first word you would say to an alien?

Launched in 1977 from Cape Canaveral, Florida, NASA's Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 had a primary mission: close examinations of Jupiter, Saturn, their rings, and key moons. Notably, they carried a Golden Record with images, sounds, and greetings, a gesture for encountering aliens. Now, if you had the chance, what would you add to the spacecraft? Imagine the message or gesture you'd send into the cosmos.

Your Favorite Things

Our friend @crazygirl uses a horn to announce her favorite things and share what she loves with the world. What are your favorite things, and how would you express them?

Everyone is SPECIAL!

One of our campers, @dracovolans, has expressed a heartfelt perspective on individuals with disabilities. We invite you to share your own compassionate thoughts and ideas on showing respect and love towards people with disabilities.

Imagine Your Own Chicken-Dragon!

Our Camper, whalebubbles, has set forth a new Challenge: produce your version of the Chicken-Dragon, her imaginary creature. What is your Chicken-Dragon like?
