Feeling of achievement brings us confidence

When kids bring the creations they have put a lot of effort into, they want to talk about them with a lot of passion. Obviously, they have more thoughts around them and they don’t feel shy about talking about them. Some kids spend hours to fold a number of the same shape of origami to assemble something huge that might do a small trick. Some kids redraw their favorite same characters over, and, over and over, to make some details look better. Some kids take extra time to put on multiple layers of shades on the blue ocean in their painting.

Praise your children about their persistence. Ask engaging questions about their work. Listen to what they say. You will be surprised how much thinking has been gone through their minds.

Challenge 1
What was the highlight of the day? Why was it the highlight? If you pick this, do this everyday until next week’s session (Even better if you stick to it for a much longer time!)

Challenge 2
Imagine and picture yourself in 15 years from now. What do you see?

Challenge 3
Where would you like to be for vacation this summer if we didn’t have the Covid-19 situation?
