Groceries Snowflake
We never cease to be amazed by our Creative Camp kiddos! This week was especially filled with creative responses that evoke empathy, compassion, and love in all different forms. The camp kids seamlessly translate deep, genuine thoughtfulness into their creations. These then become wonderful examples of encouragement, to be upstanding members of our TaleTree in alignment with our community pledge. Even in celebrating work for its pure beauty, our kids know just the right way to encourage, uplift, and recognize one another's' efforts.
Scroll down to see special goggles that use sonar to help you navigate the deep dark ocean! And the app that would help reunite you with a beloved lost pet. And don’t forget to check out the songs and poems written and produced by our little kids! Believe me when I say...we are in the midst of mini engineers, designers, activists, novelists, inventors, musicians, and more!

Challenge 1
Have you ever seen what a snowflake looks like up close? Can you believe that every snowflake pattern is unique and none look the same! Design your own special snowflake? Experiment with different materials and shapes. (balloon snowflakes, bubbles snowflakes, furry pet snowflakes, robot snowflakes, etc.)
Challenge 2
An app called ‘Be My Eyes’ helps connect blind and visually impaired people with volunteers from around the world to help with simple daily tasks like checking when the milk expires or to help when the TV stops working. In 24 hours, they had 10,000 users!Think of an app you wish existed. What kind of app would it be? Does it provide any kind of service? How does it help others make their lives easier? Design a logo for it.
Challenge 3
What is something you are afraid of? How would you change it so that it becomes less scary to you?
Kids’ own creations
Little Ones
Write a poem or song about the people in your life that you love. You can use a melody you already know, and add lyrics, too.
Summer is almost over, and Fall is just around the corner. What kinds of changes happen in your neighborhood when it becomes Fall? How does the weather change, and what does the sky look like? What about the trees and the animals? Do you change in any ways during the Fall?
