Best Friends
The Importance of Friends
Everyone out there has a best friend. The coolest thing about friends is that they can come in all shapes and sizes. Best friends can range from so many different things. They do not always have to be someone that is close in age to you. A friend can be a family member, someone you met at school, your pet, a stuffed animal, a teacher, and so much more. Friends are important because they help us to celebrate the good times, while also supporting us through the bad times.
This week, we got to learn a lot about all of our TaleTree members best friends. The majority of them met their friends at school, church, camp, or through their sport, but some of them said their best friend is their sibling. No matter who your best friend is, it is great to be able to share such a close bond with someone else. One of our members, Hayim, completed one of the TaleTree challenges, which was to draw your best friend, and include some words to describe them. She drew two of her best friends, Elin and Alice, who are also TaleTree members. Her creation showed all three of them together, holding hands, with words next to both Alice, and Elin that Hayim thinks best describe them. Elin and Alice were so happy to see her creation, they wanted to create their own. Then, Rayim showed us a drawing she did of all of her friends. She drew at least 10 different people who she told us she knew from school, and church. Although Rayim drew a ton of people, that does not mean that you have to have a ton of friends. Having one super close friend that you trust is more than enough! It is so sweet that these kids love their friends so much that they want to draw them. We know some kids are more shy than others, and that is totally okay! Ruby told us the one person she trusts the most and tells everything to is her little brother, Lincoln. This warmed our hearts knowing she has such a close bond with him, and considers him one of her best friends. She proved to us that a best friend can be someone who is younger or older than you, even someone that is related to you!
As long as our friends make us happy, and we enjoy spending time with them, then that is all that matters. Remember to always show your friends how you appreciate them, and make sure they know how much you love them. Friends truly shape the people we become, and we are so lucky to have the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people throughout our lives. If you feel like you may not have a lot of friends at school, remember that everyone here at TaleTree is your friend! TaleTree is such an amazing support system, and it is important to know that we are always here for all of you no matter what!
Let’s Create Messages for Families in Turkey

Sadly, many families lost their loved ones and many others are still trying to find their families through the wreckage of collapsed buildings. The whole world needs to help them. What can you do to help them? Donate! Pray for them! Create messages for the families, please!
My Favorite Pop Artist!
Some of us are ARMY, fans of BTS, fans of Blackpink, other bands or musicians. Sophie loves K-pop groups, especially BTS and Blackpink. She creates very cool art showing her passion for her favorite bands. Who is your favorite? How do you show your support for them?
Words Describing Your Best Friend
Valentine's Day reminds us of the people we love. Who is your best friend? Think of the friend and what are the words that come to mind? Draw a nice image about that person and give it to her/him. Show your feelings.

Who is Doing What at Your Gym?
At Juyoung's gym for veggies and fruit, everyone is exercising hard. Notice the cherry sisters that are boxing with two veggies. A cucumber is practicing kicking and a pepper is working on sit-ups. What is in your gym and what are they doing?
