School is Cool
What is your favorite subject?
Do you think school is fun? Do you like learning? We recently found out that a lot of our TaleTree members love school. They think learning is exciting, and some of them even like to take tests. If you do not like school, that is totally okay. It is not for everyone, but even if it may not be your favorite thing, it is still important to always try your best. One of our members, Makayla, reminded us on Friday that even the smartest people still find school challenging. Someone can be the smartest kid in the class, but they will still be nervous for their upcoming exam. School requires a lot of attention, which is why it can be a bit nerve-racking. We love that you guys have a passion for learning. A fan favorite school subject amongst many of our TaleTree members is math. Alex said he actually enjoys taking math tests, especially those with multiplication and division. Taking tests allows for us to test our knowledge, and see what subject we are most skilled at. Grace also said she likes math, and that is comes fairly easy to her. Math is a cool subject because there is always only one correct answer. Once you learn all of the formulas, you just have to apply them! Math definitely can be very tricky, but the more you practice it, the better you get! When you think about your favorite subject, what is it? It does not always have to be something academic based. It can be art, P.E., music, computer class, etc. The classes that spark creativity are always a lot of fun, and we love seeing the things you guys get to create while at school.
A Love for Learning
Learning can be fun! Although it can also be difficult at times, it can be really cool to learn about things you are interested in. That is one of the reasons we have our monthly Special Camps! They allow our kids to learn about new occupations, and things they are interested in. Building intelligence is crucial to a child’s development. We get so excited when they tell us about new things they have learned, and show excitement for it. Many of our kids really like school, and it makes us so happy! School can be a lot of work, but it always pays off in the end.
What does friendship mean to you?
We had our first-ever friendship day in CA over the past weekend. It was so good to meet our TaleTree friends there, create some art, and decorate the cupcakes Sophie made for us. Sorry if you couldn't join because you live far away, or you were sick over the weekend. We hope to have many international TaleTree Friendship Days in the future. What does friendship mean to you? Why does it matter?
When it Rains…
Do you like rain? Doma loves to play soccer even when it rains. And you? What do you like to do when it rains?

Who is Doing What at Your Gym?
At Juyoung's gym for veggies and fruit, everyone is exercising hard. Notice the cherry sisters that are boxing with two veggies. A cucumber is practicing kicking and a pepper is working on sit-ups. What is in your gym and what are they doing?
