All About Personality

Are you introverted or extroverted, or a mix of both? To be introverted means that you enjoy focusing on your own inner thoughts and ideas, and you prefer spending time with one person, or alone, rather than with larger groups of people. If a person is extroverted, it means the opposite. They enjoy being around a lot of people, and they love to socialize. Many people find that they are both introverted and extroverted depending on the situation they are in. When we talked with our groups on Friday about personality, we got all different answers. Sasha told us she was introverted, Seah said she falls right in the middle, and Cassidy said she was extroverted. It is cool to see how introverted and extroverted people can still get along well with one another, despite them having different socialization preferences.

When you think about your own personality, what traits come to mind? Are you social, shy, kind, caring, outgoing, funny, creative, independent, etc.? How would you describe yourself? It may be hard to explain your own personality to someone else, but determining if you are extroverted or introverted can help a lot. A great tool to use to learn more about yourself is a personality test. Sasha reminded us of this the other day, and that is how she knew she was introverted. By taking the personality test, she was able to connect to one of her favorite characters. She found out more about herself from the personality, and later realized that her and a character she loves have almost the exact same personality. Try taking a personality test to see what you are like. Maybe just like Sasha, you too can find out which characters you like that you are similar to. Which musical instrument is your favorite?

In classical music, there are lots of different instruments, like the piano, violin, drum, and flute, that people use to make beautiful music.
