Dinosaurs
Every week, our Creative Camp kiddos indefinitely have some sort of conversation about dinosaurs. Yes, the ancient, mysterious creatures that once walked this earth long before we ever did. Though we haven’t come across these creatures in our lifetime, our young camp kids spew out so much information about them, like an endless fountain of knowledge.
This week alone, we spoke about how scientists and researchers were able to distinguish herbivores from carnivores by the shapes of their teeth, and how we are able to envision their thick, scaled skin because the imprints discovered in fossils. For members here in the US and for members abroad, language doesn’t seem to be a barrier for our kids who are more concerned about sharing knowledge and discovering common interests with one another.
TaleTree’s hope is for our campers to always seek out this kind of exploration of various topics with one another. Celebrating each others’ brilliant minds and finding excitement in learning is so important, especially when it happens naturally amongst the kids.
There’s always something new and exciting to be learned from our campers. What could it be next week?
”The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.”
