Lego Love

LEGOs are such a well-loved tool for our TaleTree kids’ creative expressions. Sometimes you’ll see them built into dinosaurs or futuristic homes, and other times you’ll see them stacked into never-before-seen landscapes. There’s an endless amount of possibilities!

Just last week, Allison (age 5) shared the campgrounds she built with her own legos. It included a fancy string light that illuminated an outdoor kitchen, and a serene lake was tucked behind the well-equipped outdoor kitchen. After reflecting on her creation for an entire week, Juyoung (6) shared his own rendition of Allison’s lego campground! When asked why he chose to build a campsite, he shared that he enjoyed Allison’s project and wanted to try creating one for himself as well.

The two campsites don’t look anything alike, but the fact that Juyoung was inspired to try something different is worth celebrating. In taking time to reflect on his friend’s lego creation, he found a moment to appreciate a side of his creativity that we haven’t seen so much of before.

Where will you find your inspiration this week? Will you share inspiration with a friend?
