Teleportation Device
Humans are naturally social and communal beings, but recent events have prevented so many of us from finding a way to engage with others in the ways we normally would. With the lack of opportunities to socialize, or be in close proximity with others, so many of us can’t help but feel an even greater desire to connect with others. Even at a young age, our camp members are learning to cope with the big changes in their own lives. Still, they are eager to be with the people who bring light into their lives once again.
In response to a challenge, where our campers discovered teleportation devices, many chose to use their imaginary devices to travel to places where they can find family, friends, and loved ones. As much as they desire a thrilling adventure, they also expressed a desire to make new memories, travel to new places, and to reconnect with loved ones. Discovering the world is great, yes, but it’s that much more thrilling if it’s done with someone you love. Despite the circumstances, our young campers remind us that we have much to look forward to by rekindling loving relationships with the people we care about.
If you had a teleportation device, where would you go? Who would you like to see?
