Inspiration Is Everywhere
Inspiration
I am constantly inspired
By those people in my life,
By the way they keep going…
By the way they deal with strife.
By the dreams they are creating.
By the smile in their step.
Real life inspiration…
It’s the best sort you can get!

TaleTree is all about inspiration, and we love hearing about the things that inspire all of you. We love when you guys are inspired by each other, and create artwork based off of something a friend from camp already created. One of our camp members, Jamilah, often gets inspired by her friends creations, and we always look forward to see what she is going to create for the following week. Another one of our members, Hayim, is always inspired by her friends. She creates her own artwork, and has her own very unique and amazing art style, but when she draws girls, she usually gives them the names of her friends from camp. It really makes them happy when they hear that Hayim chose their name for her drawing of a princess. Hayim, and another one of our members, Alice drew each other when they had their first play date. It was super cute to see that during their time together they decided to draw one another, and create artwork for TaleTree.
Not only can we be inspired by our friends, but something we talked about in camp on Monday was if anyone had certain quotes that inspired them. Sumi, the TaleTree founder, said her favorite quote that really inspires her is, “Nothing is impossible. The word itself says ‘I’m Possible,’” by Audrey Hepburn. A lot of the kids really liked this quote and then we asked all of them if they had a favorite quote. It is great to hear all of the different things that inspire each and every one of you. Take some time to think about what inspires you most! Is it a quote, a person, a fictional character, an animal, the options are limitless!
