The World is Wonderful

Earth is Great

Earth is such a beautiful, and wonderful place, and we want to do everything we can to keep it this way. Earth Day was just a few days ago, and we talked about the importance of it with all of our kids in camp. Many of them had great suggestions of how we can help keep the Earth clean, and healthy. Some of them said to always recycle, to turn off lights you are not using, to not waste food, to always throw your trash away, and to try to grow your own food. There are so many other great things you can do to keep our Earth happy, but these were just a few things our camp kids came up with! If we all actively work together to do these things, we will make a positive impact.

Challenge Yourself!

Many of our camp members like to create the same things, but in different forms or different varieties. We challenged a few of them to branch out and try to create something that they have never created before. For example, one of our camp members, Sasha, always draws cartoon girls that she creates the cutest costumes and backgrounds for. Another one of our members, Yeonju, always draws different types of cartoon animals in different settings. We suggested a challenge to the two of them, in which Yeonju will try to draw a cartoon girl, and Sasha will draw a cartoon animal. Do you think you could also try to do a challenge like this?

We love that you guys have found a passion for creating something specific, but it is often fun to branch out and try new things! Remember that it is good to step outside of your comfort zone, because you never know how you may surprise yourself!
