How to Express Yourself

As Krass says in his poem above, there are many ways to express yourself. When breaking down all of these things, they can be linked to one main theme: Art. The best way to express yourself is through artwork. Whether that be singing, crafting, drawing, writing, painting, etc., these all show others who you are. There are many different forms of art, and no certain form is better than another. What is so great about art is how each of you have your own style that allows us to get to know you better, and better understand the way you think. We love being able to tell when a certain kid created something, without being told it was made by them. It is truly amazing that each of you find passion in art, and how you have all found your favorite type of art to make. When it comes to art style, we can also figure out what things you guys like. Your artwork gives us insight to your favorite games, movies, characters, food, animals, colors, and much more.

Art is so special because there is no limit to it. Something important to remember is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This means that beauty, or art, cannot be judged objectively. What one person finds beautiful may not be beautiful to another person, but this does not take away its beauty. We all have different opinions, just like we all have different art styles. Art can truly be anything, and although many of you call your work messy, or say you could have done better, we, and your friends think you did an amazing job. Practice makes perfect! It is important to keep creating as much as you can, and to make sure you track your progress. Always keep your artwork so you have it to look back on in a few years. You all will be so amazed at how far you have come. We are already so amazed with the work we see now, and we cannot wait to see more!

Adopt a Pet Plant

Many of you wish that you could have a pet animal, but pets require a lot of hard work. How about you choose a plant as a pet instead? You still need to take good care of it, but it is easier than an animal! Show us what plant you have chosen and tell us your plant’s name.
